Dock Operations Training System (DOTS)

A Coast Guard-reviewed dock operator training program that covers the regulatory and technical components of dock operations. This training program is used to certify new dock operators and to provide refresher training for existing dock operators.

DOT and OSHA Training

PSC complies fully with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. Classroom and field training is documented and audited to ensure compliance. PSC’s comprehensive programs include:

• Benzene, Hydrogen Sulfide, Butadiene, Vinyl Chloride, and Acrylonitrile
• Drug and Alcohol Compliance
• Hazcom
• Hearing Conservation
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Respiratory Protection

Tankerman Operating Procedures and Standards (TOPS)

The TOPS course is an in-house Coast Guard-approved program for the training and licensing of tankerman. This training program is provided to trainees and to tankermen requiring MMD renewals.

Safety Training

Our safety efforts are designed to involve each and every employee. Safety meetings help drive our ongoing safety improvement process that is behavior-based and employee-driven. A Safety Intensive program is required for all new employees.
