  • Implementing and operating a Safety Management System (SMS).
  • SMS’ Plan-Do-Check-Act Cycle.
  • Internal audit requirements.

Day two

  • Skills and tactics of an auditing team.
  • Planning and preparation techniques.
  • Performing the audit.
  • Classification/reporting of findings.
  • The registration process.

Objectives
Through lectures, discussions, and workshops, you will:

  • Understand and learn to interpret the OHSAS 18001 health and safety
  • anagement system specification and how to apply it to your own company.
  • Learn the principles and practices of health and safety management system auditing based on this specification.
  • Develop skills to plan, prepare, and perform value-added OHSAS 18001 audits.
