Objectives Through lectures, discussions and workshops, you will:
Understand and learn to apply the ISO 9001:2000 quality management system standard as well as the ISO 14001:1996 environmental management system (EMS) standard.
Learn how to adapt the “process approach” recommended by ISO 9001:2000 to audit your EMS “by significant aspects”.
Learn the methods, tools and techniques that can be employed to implement a common internal auditing methodology for both quality and environmental management systems.
Learn how to evaluate your organization’s progress towards achieving its quality and environmental objectives.
Who should attend? This course is designed to provide training for individuals conducting internal audits of either quality or environmental management systems. The program is particularly valuable to organizations with an integrated management system. It is also beneficial to organizations with an EMS who are planning to transition their quality management system to ISO 9001:2000.
